Rich Cantillon is president of the Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce/Tourism Office in Ponca City, Oklahoma. A graduate of Northwestern State University and the University Of Arizona Institute of Organizational Management he was chosen 2008 Chamber of Commerce Executive for the State of Oklahoma. During his tenure in Ponca City the Chamber has experienced growth in both membership and committee involvement. The Chamber has taken on several projects that have really impacted the local economy in a positive way. One is the “Shop Ponca First Campaign” this is an awareness campaign on the importance of shopping local through radio, newspaper and cable promotion. The other project is the PRIDE Program which involves Chamber Volunteers teaching business employees the importance of quality customer service, better knowledge of Ponca City and why it is important to shop at home. Rich is involved with the Ponca City Arts Council, Rotary Club, Kaw Lake Association, Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Executives and the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association. He and his wife Pam of 27 years have 3 children. Rich also worked for the Blackwell Area Chamber of Commerce, Kay Electric Cooperative and had his own photography business for 15 years. |
